There are so many different styles of dog collar you can make with paracord. Adjustable, fixed, semi adjustable, micro, macro, the list goes on. These are great fun to make, and make great gifts. You can get a wide variety of paracord colours and sizes, including 550 paracord, 425 macrame cord, micro 2mm, and micro 1mm. The colours are endless, and you can mix and match. Depending on the size of your dog you can get large adjustable buckles, or side clip bucklesfor a more slimline look and fit. If you decide to make lots of collars, it helps to have some sort of jig to hold your work in place. There are commercial jigs, but you can also make a simple one by hammering nails into a piece of wood. I have a very handy hubby who made me one from an old bar clamp he had. He turned the end around giving me more length, and drilled some holes and fitted some screws in either end to attach my cords to so i could easily adjust the length of the collar. You can see in the picture below: I have many youtube videos with dog collars too (scroll to bottom of page).
